Guidelines and Rules for Competing with ABRM

The following rules apply to Natural and Glitz contestants in regards to
competing at the prelim, regional and national level.

*ABRM Natural and Glitz pageants are two separate systems housed under the same name at the present time.

 

NATURAL AND GLITZ NATIONAL ROYALTY

  • Everyone must follow the date given as to the age division that they are to compete in with one exception which is you may move up one division if you wish.
  • ALL ULTIMATE GRAND Title holders only must sit out one year before they may re-compete unless they are competing in the opposite system. For example; no matter what title you have in our glitz system you may compete in our natural system and visa-versa. Elite Platinum and Elite Grand must sit out one year.
  • Overall Grand, Beauty Supreme, Novice Supreme, Queens, Optional Award winner and on down may re-compete for a higher title the following year in both systems and do not have to sit out especially those who have moved up into an older age division.


NATURAL AND GLITZ STATE REGIONAL/PRELIM  ROYALTY

  • Everyone must follow the date given as to the age division that they are to compete in with one exception which is you may move up one division if you wish.
  • All state, regional or prelim Ultimate queens, Elite Platinum and Elite Grands may not re-compete again in any other regional or prelim until nationals unless they are competing in the opposite system.
  • All state, regional and prelim supreme, divisional queens, optional award winners and on down may re-compete for a higher title and a larger discount to nationals in both systems as often as they wish until they have won an Ultimate title.
